Hoken Design Lab is a clothing and screen print shop founded and operated in Ventura County.
It is our mission to produce the best quality print and design for each t-shirt we put out in the world.
Roots in Art Education.
“Creative art in all kinds of media has always been a big part of my life and passion. I wanted to share this with my children and the first garments we made were carved on rubber blocks and printed by hand. We made designs to convey our interests and identity. Always thinking about how to create a quality product and design. When the pandemic lock down came, we decided to learn screen printing and make our designs in a “professional process”. We’ve had fun learning, appreciate those that have shared their knowledge with us and we will endeavor to pass along what we’ve learned to any other artists that want to get into screen printing.”

We want to help improve the world however we can. Whether it's a smile on a face or a shirt on a back. Our designs are printed for humanity. Just starting out on our journey we plan to do great things.
QUALITY PRINTING
We use traditional printing techniques and have integrity in our craft. We believe that a t-shirt should be something you feel proud to wear. We do our best to create a quality product with each tshirt we print.
ECO - FRIENDLY
We give special attention to using eco-friendlier products in our processes to reduce environmental impact. We use soy-based ink cleaners and take care not to create a lot of waste in our shop.
CUSTOM - MADE
We do small batch runs with original designs and traditional printing techniques. We use a 6 color manual press. You can't get more custom than that!
SERVING LOCAL
We have worked with several businesses in the Ventura County area. Although we can print orders and ship anywhere in the U.S., we love supporting our local communirty. Our small-batch printing services are perfect for businesses that need a smaller minimum order.
